Imported from Mexico, they are a continuation of the fine craftsmanship established in that country going back hundreds of years with carved leather saddles. These beauties are not like the more common stamped products that can be mass produced cheaply and sold. Each piece is hand-cut by skilled artisans in leather carving, preserving the art and tradition of a centuries old way technique which is still popular today. Talk about slow fashion!
